What is the Hit & Run system?
The Hit & Run system is a lead system designed around fish safety and bite indication. Both come from the pulley the development team built it around.
How does it give you twice the indication?
For every inch of movement at the rig end you get two inches at the rod end. The leader doubles over on itself as a fish moves with the rig, so the take reaches your indicator twice as fast.
What makes it fish safe?
The swivel is threaded onto the leader material and the system works on a pulley, so one end is attached to your mainline only. In the event of a breakage the fish swims away freely and the rig detaches from the leader and lead system.
What comes in the Centre Impact Lead Kit?
One Centre Impact Lead, one Hit & Run Leadclip Leader, one Swivel Lead Insert and one foam for storage.
Does the lead come off on every take?
No. The system is not designed to drop the lead every time. It is designed to drop it when it is needed.
Which rigs can I use with the Hit & Run system?
The system is versatile, so around ninety per cent of rigs work with it. Tie your own or start from a ready tied rig.
What is the 2-in-1 system?
The Centre Impact Lead can be fished as an inline setup or as a standard swivel lead setup. The Swivel Insert makes the change, and it comes both in the kit and separately.
Can this be used without leaders?
Yes. The Safety Pack allows the system to be fished without a leader.
What is the D.I.Y. bundle?
Do It Yourself. A bundle for anglers who like to make their own leaders, so you can build variations of the Hit & Run system to your own taste while saving against buying the parts separately.
